osa GmbH & Co. KG is an internationally active trade agency and trading company.
The main field of activity of osa is the partnership with renowned German and European manufacturers from the sanitary, fittings, lighting, kitchen and furniture industries and the support of export and import activities as a service partner of the manufacturers.
The regional focus is on Eastern Europe, especially Russia, and large parts of Southeast Asia, and China. For these regions, osa has set up its own operative business units, which cooperate closely with each other and are supported by a central financial accounting department.

The history of osa and the founding family Otto-Hechtenberg can be traced back to 1884. At the end of the 19th century, for example, Villeroy & Boch brand tiles were exported to the German club in Tsingtao, China.
In the Asian region, osa has more than 40 years of experience; in Eastern Europe, especially Russia and the Ukraine, it has been operating successfully since 1997.
Special attention is paid to establishing long-term business relationships in the respective countries with trustful partners, in order to successfully position the brands in the markets for the long term.
In doing so, osa pursues the philosophy of a bridge function, i.e. to act close to the customer in the customer markets and close to the manufacturers in the countries of origin, in each case with its own employees on site, via its own offices and employees in Moscow and Shenzhen.
This guarantees support for all partners in the respective time zones and national languages. Furthermore, osa has its own storage capacities at its headquarters in Iserlohn.

Since 2009, osa is the distribution partner for both their own brand BaliSpa and its emotion-driven bathroom concepts as well as the Italian washbasin specialist Glass Design within the sanitary retail trade in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
The products of both brands are distinctly characterized by both their design and use of materials as well as addressing the emotional aspect of their nature.

The products allow the playful combination of both extroverted and contemporarily designed style elements drawn from varying authenticity-reinforcing materials such as natural stone, teak wood, silicone, crystal, glass or aluminium and further expressed through an elegant touch and beautiful design.

Since 1997 osa cooperates as the exclusive trade representative for
a number of premium producers of high-quality sanitary ware products and system specialists for iron mongery and entrance solutions within much of Eastern Europe and Central Asia, concentrating on Russia, Kasachstan, Belarus and the Ukraine.
In 2011 osa opened a representative office in Moscow in order to be near our customers and together with a local team be able to relate to our customers in both local language and custom.

osa’s fundamental roots are in the export of German sanitary ware products to Asia.
Even today osa functions as the representative agency for European suppliers in China and wide areas of South East Asia, setting up distribution networks and managing relations with distribution partners in the bathroom, tile and kitchen businesses and maintains offices and a team of employees in Hong Kong and Shenzhen.

Since the late 1990’s osa works as a sourcing partner for European producers of bathroom, sanitary ware and kitchen products as well as partners in the metal and plastics manufacturing industry, establishing and maintaining relations with Asian manufacturers of component and finished goods, particularly in China.
The businesses of our customers in Asia are supported and supervised by both local partners and local employees as well as employees from Germany.
